La catrina comes from Aztec roots. We chose la catrina as our scarecrow because we felt it represents our Mexican heritage. La catrina is a way to honor and protect those who have passed. La catrina was also known as a way of representing equality after death. La catrina was made from one of our servers who choose to use things that could be recycled.
