Where Community and History Meet
Every Heritage Brick in the Museum Plaza represents a personal connection to our town and a commitment to keeping our history alive for generations to come.
Show Your Commitment
The Plaza in front of the Edmonds Historical Museum has become a gathering place for the Edmonds community. Visitors come to get an introduction to our history. Families and friends meet before touring the Museum or enjoying the Museum’s Market. The Plaza is made of bricks honoring friends and family, donors, and local businesses. But the bricks are also a demonstration of the community’s commitment to our heritage, and how history touches us today and helps us shape our future.
We invite you to leave your mark on our local history by dedicating a brick to grace the Museum Plaza for years to come. Heritage Bricks come in different sizes and colors, and can be inscribed with messages and logo designs. Become part of the legacy of our community.

The next installation of Heritage Bricks will be in Summer 2026

Details: The engraver will use exactly what you type into the fields in the form. Make sure you are happy with capitalization, spelling, and punctuation. There will be a charge for changes after engraving. If you have questions, reach out to us at bricks@historicdedmonds.org.
Location: If you want your brick placed near an existing one and a spot is available, contact bricks@historicedmonds.org; this may be possible for a reasonable fee. Similarly, if you would like to replace an older, worn brick you purchased with one made with newer materials, you can do so at a 50% discount on the current price. Again, just reach out to bricks@historicedmonds.org.
What to Expect: Once a batch of bricks has been engraved, we will determine an installation date and post it on this site. The bricks will be shipped to the Museum, and a group of volunteers will then install them, and you can bring friends and family to see the result. If you or someone you know might enjoy participating in the installation process, contact volunteer@historicedmonds.org. We would love this to be even more of a community activity.
