Description
Sister Mary Hayseed is a tribute to the dedicated nuns who first taught at Holy Rosary School. Dressed in a traditional habit, this scarecrow represents the heart and soul of Catholic education. She reflects the nurturing spirit of Catholic educators who have guided students for 60 years. With a cross around her neck and students by her side, she symbolizes the rich history and timeless values that have shaped the lives of hundreds of students at Holy Rosary School. Sister Mary Hayseed reminds us all that, just like her, the roots of faith and education run deep in our school’s community.
