Visit the Collections and Research Center

The Edmonds Historical Museum, operated by the Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society, preserves and shares the rich history of Edmonds and the surrounding area. To better care for our growing collection, we moved our full collection to the new Collections and Research Center at Harbor Square. This space was selected for its convenient location, organizational capabilities, and climate control options. Beyond storage, the collections space is envisioned as a public-facing resource. Visitors are able to explore behind-the-scenes work, access research materials, and engage directly with the museum’s archives and staff. The center is currently available for scheduled tours and research visits, making local history more discoverable and interactive than ever, with the goal of opening for regular hours in the coming months.
