The Edmonds Historical Museum is excited to launch a new “Sponsor an Artifact” campaign. Much like “adopting” an animal at the Zoo, this program will help us care for our artifacts for the year to come and to fund the development of our new Collections Facility that will open to the public by 2026.
The Edmonds Historical Museum encourages individuals, families, and businesses to take part in this campaign and help safeguard the community’s history. The fundraising drive will run from July 2, 2025 through August 31, with the facility to open to the public by appointment by January 2026. Sponsorships will cover the first year of the relocation project. After our facility is open, this will be a yearly fundraiser to help offset the expenses associated with housing and caring for 30,000 items.
How to Get Involved:
The “Sponsor an Artifact” program offers different sponsorship methods including sponsorship of the full facility, individual collections, or specific artifacts. You are welcome to make contributions via our WAGives or through the donate button on our website by adding your contribution and a note for what you would like to sponsor. You will find the possible artifacts for sponsorship and thier rates below.
All sponsors will receive recognition for their contributions, including acknowledgments in museum materials, recognition within the collections storage and exclusive updates on the collection’s move. Higher-tier donors may also have the opportunity to attend a behind-the-scenes tour or have a photoshoot with their sponsored artifact.
