Paint and Sip

January 9th 6:30 pm at the Museum

Have your own Bob Ross moment by painting in the museum! Get creative or receive guidance for how to create your own Edmonds inspired artwork, and most importantly have some fun in the museum!

This event is part of a new series of monthly arts and crafts in the museum, inspired by our new exhibit Art History! Take a break from painting to chat with fellow guests or explore the exhibits!

Tickets include all paint supplies, lessons, snacks, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, and one drink of your choice! A paid bar will be open for additional alcoholic beverages.

If you have any dietary restrictions, please contact us in advance!

Coffee and a Movie

March 23rd 10:00-11:30 at the Edmonds Theater

Join us for a documentary screening and panel discussion regarding the historical legacy and ethical implications fo the coffee trade. Complimentary coffee provided by Red Twig Bakery for every ticket purchase!

Steep and Greet

March 29th in the museum

Come try something new at the museum! We will be hosting local coffee and tea businesses offering samples and information! Learn about how different cultures have their warm beverages and try something you may have never experienced otherwise!

The museum hours will be affected by this event.

Game Night at the Museum

April 11th 5:00-8:00 in the museum!

Everybody loves board games! Stop by the museum to learn a bit about game history, especially those that originated right here in the Pacific Northwest! Play provided games or bring your own to share!

Games provided by volunteers and Around the Table Game Pub.

Advised admission: $5/person or $25/table

Murder Mystery Night at the Museum

April 26th

Family Friendly Session: 4:00-5:30

16+ Session: 6:30-8:00

Stop by the museum for the unveiling of a new artifact that attracts a high-profile cast of actors! Can you help unravel the mystery when things go arry?

Tickets to the murder mystery include the interactive event, access to museum exhibits (including some artifacts not usually on display!), snacks and drinks included. Fancy dress is encouraged but not required.

Victorian Tea

May 10th 3:30-5:00 in the museum!

The museum will provide a full-service afternoon tea complete with snacks and the same tea varieties used in the Boston Tea Party!

While you eat and drink you will learn the proper Victorian era ettiquette for pouring a pot of tea, throwing your own tea party, and engaging in social life in Victorian Edmonds!

Fancy dress is encouraged but not required.

Art History Exhibit Opening

September 20th 10:00-1:00

The public opening of the new Art History exhibit in the Edmonds Historical Museum! Featuring light refreshments and conversations with the curator, come learn how Edmonds became the creative district it is today! A celebration of the Edmonds Arts Commission\’s 50th Anniversary, as well as all of the other arts and cultural organizations in the area!

Stitch and Witch

October 3rd 5-8:30 pm at the Museum

As part of our new \”Art History Exhibit\” the museum is hosting monthly arts and crafts nights!First up is \”Stitch and Witch\” a halloween-themed crochet and knitting night! Beginners are welcome as teachers will be there to teach easy beginner patterns, like pumpking coasters, ghoulish granny squares and more!A ticket includes tools, yarn, lessons and snacks! Or make a donation of any size to enjoy snacks and cozy crafting, but bring your own projects!

$15 includes all materials, snacks, and lessons, while donations of any sizes are appreciated for a bring-your-own project!

Murder Mystery Night at the Museum

Join us for a Roaring good time at this speakeasy inspired murder mystery night! Attendees from the first murder mystery in our series can expect the same level of fun with a whole new plot! No two murders are alike!

Haunted Museum 11+

October 25th 7-10 pm at the Museum

A twist on our holiday tradition, stop by the museum for a complete haunted house experience! Designed for older audiences (PG 11+), stop by the museum for a night of fright and jump scares from a cast of fun acotrs!

Tickets start at $5 at the door, cash, card, or venmo accepted.

Haunted Museum

October 31st 5-7 pm at the Museum

Halloween in Edmonds is bigger than ever. The museum transforms into a spooky stop you won’t forget.
As you come downtown to trick-or-treat, step inside for chills, history, and a dash of fright. This is perfect for people who want just a taste of spooky fun for the whole family!

Donations at the door appreciated via tap, venmo, or cash.
