Created by 9 year old Zoe and her grandma Margie. Three tomato cages were built up with burlap for faces to appear like scarecrows dressed for trick or treating as a cowgirl, ghost and witch. We used items from the "Halloween bag" in the attic and fabric from the sewing cupboard. These little characters became huggable to Zoe, as she painted faces on them. We love the Halloween spirit of Edmonds' businesses and residents that create a safe and fun Halloween experience for local children. This display will only be up as weather permits, as it may be hard to protect them against rain and wind, which is why I am not including an address. Read more

Sasssparilla moved to Edmonds from a far away land where they didn't celebrate Halloween, a land devoid of pumpkins, trick or treat and candy, but most of all... scarecrows. She noticed people dressing up their windows with dolled up scarecrows and that first year she had black leggings and an orange tulle skirt. And then as the years progressed she added different colored skirts, cute little booties, ribbons and flowers in her hair and a smile in her soul. She had found her home at C'est La Vie and now celebrates Halloween with joy, a little spookiness, a LOT of sass and most of all fun! We love her here... she is now part of our family! Read more

Our "Know-it-Owl" has nested in our shop window ready to school anyone who gets too close to its snug home in the corn patch. She is close friends with the Pine Ridge Park owls and will talon you! "The LOVE shack" A little love place You'll be thrilled to DEATH to see it the bride and groom started out married life - large and in charge. Then met with an accidental DEATH! With her passport and bags packed, Sally Edmonds is ready for her two-week stay in Hekinan, Japan, made possible through the Edmonds Sister City Commission Student Exchange program. Sally can't wait to experience the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and hospitality of Japan! The Edmonds Sister City Commission, together with the Hekinan Sister City Association, have hosted student exchanges for the past 32+ years. As part of the Student Exchange program Edmonds students’ ages 14-18 exchange homestays with Hekinan students in the same age group for two weeks during the summer.
