Suzy Boo Anthony has returned, more than 100 years after her death, to serve as a haunting reminder that our democracy requires every American to stay engaged and be valued! We must be protectors and allies and be kind to one another. Much of Suzy Boo’s tireless work to ensure voting rights for all could be lost, and her ghost is here to tell us that we must remain vigilant. If we do not scare away the goblins, evil spirits, and bogeymen, the Constitution could become nothing but a specter. Read more

Created by 9 year old Zoe and her grandma Margie. Three tomato cages were built up with burlap for faces to appear like scarecrows dressed for trick or treating as a cowgirl, ghost and witch. We used items from the "Halloween bag" in the attic and fabric from the sewing cupboard. These little characters became huggable to Zoe, as she painted faces on them. We love the Halloween spirit of Edmonds' businesses and residents that create a safe and fun Halloween experience for local children. This display will only be up as weather permits, as it may be hard to protect them against rain and wind, which is why I am not including an address. Read more

Sasssparilla moved to Edmonds from a far away land where they didn't celebrate Halloween, a land devoid of pumpkins, trick or treat and candy, but most of all... scarecrows. She noticed people dressing up their windows with dolled up scarecrows and that first year she had black leggings and an orange tulle skirt. And then as the years progressed she added different colored skirts, cute little booties, ribbons and flowers in her hair and a smile in her soul. She had found her home at C'est La Vie and now celebrates Halloween with joy, a little spookiness, a LOT of sass and most of all fun! We love her here... she is now part of our family! Read more

Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King himself, and his ragdoll sweetheart Sally wandered out of Halloween Town and stumbled right into the 13th Annual Edmonds Scarecrow Contest! Jack, ever the showman, wanted to bring some frightful fun to our seaside town. Together, they stitched up a plan — part spooky, part sweet — to craft the perfect Edmonds-style scarecrow. Now they stand proudly on display, celebrating love that never dies and a town that knows how to do Halloween right. Jack may be made of bones, and Sally of stitches, but their hearts are sewn together — and this year, they’re stitched into the spirit of Edmonds! ❤️ Vote for Jack & Sally in the 13th Annual Edmonds Scarecrow Contest — where Halloween magic comes to life!
